NFL Flag Football is for boys and girls ages: 5,6, & 7.   8, 9 & 10.   10, 11, and 12.
This is no contact fun flag football, fifty percent play rule, referees in each game.
Trophies awarded to all players at end of season.

FLAG FOOTBALL RULES 2009-2010.(1) All coaches are responsible for their own parents, coaching staff, and players. We expect good sportsmanship at all times. The goal of this league is to have fun, learn some football skills, and make new friends. (2) Every player must wear a mouth piece, (no mouth piece no play).(3) Each game will consist of four continuous  ten minute quarters. Clock will only stop for injuries, and in the last two minutes of the second and fourth quarters when a touch down is scored.(Two-3 minute time outs per half).Teams have forty seconds from the time the ball is spotted by the referee in which to call a play, to much time, five yard penalty.(4) Each player will play 50% of each game, unless player has not attended practices or has violated team or league rules. (5) There will be seven players on the field at any one time, except 5, 6, & 7 year olds teams, five vs five,  teams may play with no less than five players.  all teams start play on 20 yard line, receiving team must be five yards off ball. No player may move until ball  punted. There will be three  offensive players on the line for all plays, one player may go in motion, no other players can move until ball is snapped, 5 yard penalty for violation.(6) Six  points for touchdown, running extra point try: 2 points, pass play: 1 point. Ball is placed at five yard line for extra point attempt, defense lines up on goal line. (7) Defense will line up five yards off ball, unless first down marker is less than five yards, five yard penalty for violation.Movement before snap, except motion man, five yard penalty. Pushing, shoving, pulling shorts or jersey to pull flags, blocking with arms up or elbows out, bad language, talking back to referee or coach, ten yard penalty.Fighting-two game suspension.No Flag shielding, ten yards. Players must block with arms down by sides or in front of body. No fumbles, ball is down when player has lost control. On punts only player touching ball can pick up again.  No swimming to get to ball carrier. Screen blocking is allowed.(If any player drops ball on ground it is a dead ball, there are no fumbles. Offense has four downs to go ten yards. Offense must tell defense on 4th down if it is punting. Coach must tell referee if running fumble-ruski play.  We want everyone to enjoy our flag football program, encourage all players and teams to show good sportsmanship. Please do not yell at players, referees, or other parents.  Set a good example for your children. We all should have some fun with this GAME.
